absolutely nothing special. wood fired pizza is great, but if you just put normal Toppings on it, it becomes burnt thin crust.

I wasn't impressed like everyone else. Recently went to there building next to dickies bbq. Nice building but they put way too much garlic on their new York garlic pizza. I really enjoy my garlic but this was unedible. Only could eat two slices before calling it quits and throwing the rest away. If you do go make sure you ask for mild garlic.

I didn't expect to get a pizza like this while visiting Cedar City. The Margherita was excellent and the wife loved the Italian Cowboy. The place is brand new, nice decor, friendly staff, and good prices. It would be nice if they sold beer and wine, but other than that no complaints. We'll definitely come back next time we are in town.

Thank you fellow yelpers! Stopped through on our way to St. George with the family. Fortunately, no one else was there so it was very fast. The pizza was amazing and so affordable. I was told they will be going inside for winter @ the Providence bldg. I have no idea what that is, but I'm sure the locals do. We ordered the Margarita & Greek. We all loved the Margarita best. The Greek was good, but overloaded with canned black olives (never been a fan of those). It would be amazing with some sort of tapenade instead. But otherwise we were thrilled. We will definitely be back. This is an absolute gem in Cedar City! P.s., you can call in orders ahead.

The new place is awesome! Great pizza great service a must when in Cedar City. Try the Italian cowboy but add chicken best BBQ chicken pizza I've ever had.

I'm ashamed of myself for not going here before. My pizza came out wonderful. It was the Gyro pizza, and was quickly gone. The NY Garlic was too powerful and I ended up throwing it out. Next time, I'll need to indicate less garlic on my pizza. The quality of ingredients was more than I expected. Overall, a pleasant surprise. I will be returning.

Passing through Cedar City on our way to ski northward. Found this on yelp. Awesome!!! Small, casual family place. Neat, upscale decor. Amazing pizza. Garlic was delicious. The dessert pizzas are so yummy too. Crust was light and delicious. This family hails from Los Angeles and we know good pizza!! You will not be disappointed. Also very inexpensive for this type of handmade pizza. YUM!!!

I love pizza and I'm always looking for good pizza joins....this one takes the cake! It really is some of the best pizza I've ever had, hands down! Atmosphere is good and kid friendly.

I have recently started going to centro more and pizza cart a lot less. The pizza at centro is just as good but the thing that has hooked me is the consistency. Pizza cart has gone downhill this year. I don't know if it is two brothers or partners or what that run it, but I've noticed the older one is loosing it. I am sick of gambling on a cooked pizza or a doughy one with enough cheese to kill a small dog. Earlier this month he made a chicken bbq ranch for me and there was unmelted cheese and frozen chicken in the middle. And to top it all off it was about8 inches across. Rip off for $10. I'll take a consistently good pie in a nice place for a few bucks more over a doughy one on broken camp chairs any day.

Simply amazing. Best pizza you can get anywhere in Utah. Wood fire, fresh ingredients, phenomenal crust. I absolutely love it.

Hands down the best Pizza in Cedar. Made from scratch as you wait and it's light on the wallet too. Fast, friendly and fantastic! The only thing that out does the pizza are the mustaches donned by the chefs. Absolutely Grade-A pies.

A pleasant surprise found in Cedar. Excellent wood fired pizza with a very clean refreshing sauce and perfect amount of toppings. The atmosphere is warm and contemporary with a come and stay a while feeling. Very clean. The gentlemen firing the pizzas would take a minute to chat with the kids watching the oven and gave them custom chef hats with his art. Although this was family friendly the pizza was still sophisticated and the salads are large and delicious. This is a new must stop if ever hungry passing through Cedar. I would be surprised if they do not out grow this location. The price is also great for the quality of the food.

Easily the best pizza I have ever had. It's probably a good thing they aren't open all week or we would eat there a whole lot more. The $5 special is perfect for two people and a good amount of food for the price. Being a student, cost is very important when deciding where to eat. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is ready almost instantly. I would recommend the pizza cart to anyone.

  • Katy C.

Best pizza ever! I recommend the ranchoroni, made by the mustache man. He is awesome!

    (5)
  • Sidni K.

Try the garlic pizza! Husband and I are big fans and go every weekend. The taste is about the same as Centro, but much cheaper and an awesome experience to watch them cook it right in front of you. Definitely stop by!! *note, they are not open all week. Usually just thursday-saturday

We at there as a family last month, the food was really tasty. If you are in the mood for pizza and anywhere near Cedar City, this is the place to go. My kids are allergic to milk, so they prepared a cheese free pizza that they absolutely loved. My favorite was their olive and onion pizza. Will go back when passing through again.

Excellent Napoletana pizza place. If your up from Vegas, or down from SLC, it's the Settebello of Cedar City.

What can I say but "OMG". Best pizza I have ever had. So much so our glutinous fat butts ordered two pizzas for 2 adults and a child and a salad with no left overs. Lets start off with what a quaint little joint it was with minimal but tasteful decor. Also the excitement of the brick pizza oven. I found this place while of course searching on yelp. Never having been to utah let alone cedar city I was pleased that I stumbled upon this place. The staff was kind and yes the food was delicious plus they had homemade buttermilk ranch which is always a plus in my book. They also have the fancy bottled sodas if that is your thing. If u ask the locals this place is the only good place to eat in cedar city...lol.... I dont know because we were to full to try anything else. But either way if you are passing through or a local to Utah it is a must pizza joint.

If you haven't already, read the info on this place. That's what initially drew me to the Pizza Cart on our trip back from Zion National Park. Everything is really good. The price is right, about 9 USD a plate, which serves one, or two if you aren't that hungry, and the pizza is phenomenal. I had the four cheese pesto, and due to the wood burning stove putting off its scent, I was dying for it by the time it got to my table (around ten minutes). The staff were friendly and helpful.

  • A. D.

This pizza place is wonderful! The atmosphere and friendly service pair well with the delicious pizza! Our family enjoyed a Chicken Ranch Pizza and a Meat lovers pizza. The toppings were fresh and the crust was a little doughy, yet crisp. We are sad that we live so far away (out of state!) because this would be our new favorite pizza joint!

  • Lori G.

Doors were closed when we arrived at 903 pm Casey ran over unlocked for us and even allowed dinning in service! Staff was super friendly! Service was fast! Absolutely a must have pizza dinner!

  • Chris F.

Ordered the Gyro pizza and Margarita pizza. I would order the Gyro again only without the tzatziki sauce. Doesn't go well on pizza in my opinion. The Margarita was fantastic. Good food, service, and price.

College is over now, and I still crave this place. The Pizza Cart has grown up to be a full-blown restaurant. I was skeptical of the move, worried I'd lose the love of my life (really, don't get between me and good pizza). There was something magical about that cart. It would pop up during the day in the parking lot of a hardware store and disappear at night. It wasn't pretentious, or fluffy, or stable. It was just a dude, his wife, and sometimes a guy with a mustache making pizza, covered in flour, smiling. Like they do in Italy. I would eat there every Friday with a good friend. We would sit on these little plastic lawn chairs sipping pella's and enjoying the February sun. It always felt right. Anyway, they moved indoors, and I was worried they'd have to sell their soul to some unknown god of crappy restaurants. I still miss the plastic lawn chairs and parking lot flooring, but I'm happy to report that the pizza is still amazing. I guess what I'm trying to say is: Eat here, it's important.

Wow! We weren't expecting much when stopping here on our way home from a camping trip. That changed with the first bite. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had. Tons of flavor and perfect wood fired crust. The meat lovers is not overbearing with just meat. With the peppers and sauce everything works so well together. The BBQ chicken ranch was great as well. Chicken wasn't dry and flavorless as I was expecting. The bacon, ranch and BBQ sauce all complement the chicken well. We will be stopping here on future camping trips for sure!

  • Darian S.

Darn good pizza!!! I consider myself a pizza conissour and if your in St. George this has to be some of the best pizza in town.

    (5)
  • davo w.

Nice crust and interesting flavor. Seemed a little light on the sauce and cheese, but Italians will probably say that is the way pizzas are made in Italy. Yeh I'd go back and buy two. One wasn't enough to fill up a hungry man.

    (5)
  • Parker G.

Best pizza in Cedar City. Italian Cowboy, Greek and the Gyro are my favorite. I used to love getting half and half. It was quite possibly the best thing about the Pizza Cart. It was awesome to have variety in one pizza. Unfortunately, they started charging an extra $2 for getting half and half:) If it weren't for the $2 surcharge I would give them 5 stars.

We read the reviews and thought we better give it a try. It didn't disappoint. Try it when you can!! We ordered the Margherita pizza, added mushrooms it was Amazing! ! The Greek salad, tasty and a very generous portion. Great taste. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Will definitely be back. You should too.

A family run business. They always go above and beyond to take care of customers. Great drink selection that includes organic options that I really appreciate. A family friendly restaurant that I always feel comfortable bringing my children with me. I love the chicken bacon ranch!

  • Ashley H.

This place is amazing. They make really good pizza. They make some of the most tastiest pizza in cedar. They should open up more locations around town. I recommend this pizza cart if you want to pass by . Or if you are here for the Shakespeare festival. You could bring it back with you to the hotel!!!!!

Ok so I thought the other reviews were a joke but OMG this place is awesome and worth the out of the freeway trip some of the best pizza I have ever had. The greasy Greek is amazing!

  • Tony M.

Too good to be true, not this time. Hopefully Cedar City realizes how lucky they are to have hand crafted pizza baked in a wood burning oven, FOR UNDER 10 BUCKS!!! I frequent Cedar City from Los Angeles. For the same size and quality pizza in LA, you would have to pay 13-15 dollars.

    (5)
  • Nicole C.

Fantastic pizza! Went out of our way coming through town to try it out and couldn't have been more pleased! Wonderful service, great food...can't go wrong.

  • Nick H.

My wife and I LOVE this place! Great portions for a great price and it tastes amazing. Don't be afraid to call ahead, it takes about 15-30min at rush. My wife and I usually each get a pizza and make two meals out of it. Absolutely worth the try. Vegan and vegetarian options that still taste great. Jason is a stellar guy and knows his stuff and will mix stuff up upon request. Italian Cowboy with BBQ, Margherita, New York Garlic are just a few of our favorites but there is a lot to choose from.

The BOMB!! Stopped here on our way to Wyoming. Soooo glad we did.......AMAZING!! Now we are on our way back to California from Wyoming and we just called and placed an order, because it's that good!!

Great hand crafted pizzas. My favorite is the margarita pizza but love them all. Be sure to ask about the pizza of the day special. The pizza is made to order.

You may think you have eaten good pizza before. In fact you may even think you've had pizza before. However, I assure you that you have not felt the pure, unadulterated love of pizza until you bless yourself by purchasing any and/or all menu items from the illustrious Cedar City Pizza Cart. Let me emphasize my love for the Pizza Cart by saying that I just contacted Yelp in hopes that they would permit a one-time exception of allowing a 6-star rating for the Pizza Cart.

    (5)
  • Jennifer H.

we've gone there three years in a row and still has yet to disappoint. Very Yummy! Totally worth the wait. You can call in an order to pick up too.

  • Sydney L.

The best pizza ever. When we lived in Cedar we would go here every Friday. After leaving Cedar we spent two weeks traveling up and down Italy and I'm telling you this pizza is better than anything I had in Italy. I have since lived in Paris, Houston, and San Francisco and I still haven't found anything comparable. Their recipe is perfection. I love the margherita the most but they are all delicious.

    (5)
  • Ben W.

I like to eat here when in Cedar and I am never disappointed. Great food and nice people who own and run the cart.

    (5)
  • Lizzy B.

Very modern and hip place. Their pizzas are amazing. They have many different choices when it comes to pizza. They also have a few desert pizzas. Very yummy!

  • Sonja M.

Stopped by this great place on the way to Salt Lake! I don't have a picture but rest assured I ate all of my food. They are super nice and accommodating. I had the Margheroni pizza and they split it easily between 2 boxes. My friend ordered the raspberry salad and loved that as well! I love the decor and to see wood being chopped for that authentic wood fire pizza! We got to see how it all started from a pizza cart to a restaurant. Make this a usual stop on your way to Salt Lake or better yet, make a special trip! Your taste buds won't be disappointed!

A local Pizza Cart business, ran by an alumni member of Southern Utah University. The owner started his business as an actual Cart, selling woo-fired pizzas in the parking lot of the local Ace store. The menu details are very creative, and the decorations are upscale in this fairly spacious location next to Dickey's and Tropical Smoothie. When I went, I had the CBR (Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch) pizza, which may not sound like great toppings for a pizza, but It's definitely tasty (I also hear it's the favorite among locals). The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fried oven (I believe they use oak wood) and they are able to cook two pizzas in there at a time, constantly moving the pizzas from front to back so that one pizza does not get over-cooked. All of the pizzas are around $10, some a bit more if I remember correctly. The pizza is around 14", I think, and comes with 6 slices. It's a good portion for two people, and if you feel a little famished you can get an order or breadsticks (cheesy) that are also delicious. For date nights, hanging out with friends, or just a man on the run needing a good quick bite to eat, this is a great place to go.

Soo good, and very reasonably priced. Their oven is awesome to look at too! Definitely worth a visit.

  • Tracy M.

We loved the decor! Really rustic... A little quiet though, not that we wanted it loud - but the dining area was a little awkwardly quiet. Now the food: we have eaten the chicken bacon ranch back when this was an actual cart and loved it!!! Tonight we had the gyro to be adventurous... It was very creamy, but the cold ingredients cooled the pizza too fast and there wasn't enough lamb on it for us. Really great tzatziki sauce though! The side oriental chicken salad was good.

  • Roger T.

Creative pizza menu and the crust is oh so tasty! But not a particularly good business lunch choice for because of the slowness of service. Even on a relatively slow day, from walking in, to having our pizza delivered was 30 mins.

This place is incredible!!! I had the Hawaiian pizza and the Nutella raspberry dessert. Soooo good! Excellent prices. Great atmosphere.

    (5)
  • Mary S.

This place is very clean. The staff is very friendly and the pizza was Fantastic. 4 pizzas fed my family of 6. 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 kids. It's close to the freeway and was a perfect place to stop on our road trip. We would defiantly go back. I wish we had a place like this in my town.

I've known Jason for a few years, and his product just gets better and better. One of SUU's chemistry teachers explained to me - over slices of pepperoni - why this pizza is better than the chain stuff. He explained that the wetter homemade dough, when cooked at far higher temperatures for shorter durations, crystallized the yeast and made it delicious. Yesterday I tried one with a pesto base (instead of red sauce), pepperoni and garlic. SAVORY! It doesn't have a name yet, but if you ask for it they'll make it for you.

Whenever we are in utah, we visit, delicious food and great ppl run it! They have a great selection with reasonable prices. The people who started it are really nice and care about what they do and do it well.

  • Becky W.

Why go to a ho-hum chain or crappy drive thru when you can have a local slice of heaven right off the freeway?! The Pizza Cart serves up made to order woodfired pizzas with both standard. ( pepperoni, smoked bacon, sausage, peppers) and unusual (gyro, bbq chicken ranch) ingredients for a great price in a welcoming atmosphere. Our family of 4 and a kid shared 2 twelve inch pizzas and a yummy house salad and were so happy we stopped in on our way to Kolab Canyon and Zion. Sodas, juices and beer too. And if you have a little one, it's fun for them to watch the pizzas get made and slid into their super hot oven. These guys deserve kudos. Enjoy!

    (5)
  • Jill W.

Very friendly guys who work there, and the pizza is wonderful. I tried both the pepperoni and the gyro pizzas. They were both cooked perfectly and with a lot of flavor. The size of the pizza is perfect for an adult and prices aren't too bad either. Will be back.

My favorite pizza place in Cedar City. I tried the Gyro pizza on a recommendation and it was incredible! Don't like the up charge for half and half pizzas but not a deal breaker

    (4)
  • Dion M.

My favorite pizza place. I love the food here. I always get a half Gyro, half Chicken Bacon Ranch. I could almost eat here every day. I wish there wasn't an up charge to get the half/half pizza though. Otherwise this place is great. The atmosphere is also very nice.

  • Amanda R.

There is a good reason this place is one of the top restaurants for Cedar on Yelp- it's amazing!!!! I hadn't been since they were a cart in front of Ace, and I'm so glad I rediscovered it today. So, so delicious. And I loved the choice of decor and ambiance. Friendly, helpful staff. Quality pizzas for an excellent price. They don't hold back on toppings. Simply incredible.

    (5)
  • Tom W.

Awesome wood fired pizza. The thin crust has an awesome wood taste. The pizzas are for one hungry person or two nibblers. We also had the desert pizza - awesome !!! I will be returning Nice environment and friendly staff

    (5)
  • Kimberly Y.

I love almost everything about this place. Amazing pizza, fresh and delicious salads and super friendly staff. Only thing I would like is if they had a kid's menu, or even just drinks for kids. But overall, this place is awesome! Highly recommended!

  • Chris W.

DELICIOUS! My wife and I loved the simple yet rustic ambience, the friendly service, and the scrumptious pizza. I had the meat lover's and my wife had the chicken bacon ranch. Both were excellent.

  • Susy M.

My husband and I LOVE this pizza! The ingredients are fresh and the crust is so delicious! A sweet plus is their dessert pizza, and when the owner overheard it was my birthday, he brought me out a free one! This is a family owned and operated business, not a franchise, and this family works really hard to have awesome , creative pizzas, AND YUMMY salads too. It is not expensive, but the oven-fired crusts seem like they should be! Just a great family place to go. They make it just for you, so you have to wait just a bit for the pizzas, but worth it. You are missing out if you don't try this place, so much better than a franchise.

We happened upon this place driving through on our way to a hotel in Richfield. We didn't order any of their specialty pizza's, but the toppings we did order were fresh. The service was fast and friendly.

The Pizza Cart of Cedar City is my favorite restaurant of all time. It has a clean relaxed environment. The staff is friendly and professional. My best friend and I come at least twice a week. The chicken bacon ranch is number one, the gyro is number two and you can't go wrong with the margarita. But let's be honest, all of the pizza's are delicious. Cheers

We love this place!!!! Whenever we come from San Diego we eat here, sometimes for lunch and dinner. The raspberry pecan salad is great-loaded with pecans and raspberries. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas here!!!!

Great food, great service, great ambiance. The pizzas were delicious: all fresh ingredients. The staff were so good to talk to my kids as they watched their every move from the counter prepping all 5 pizzas. We would definitely go out of our way to come again.

If you're in town and hungry Thursday, Friday, or Saturday from noon until 8pm, you gotta try Pizza Cart! It's in the Ace Hardware parking lot. It's literally a cart with a wood fired oven on it and they make the best pizza you'll ever try! I recommend the 3 cheese with pesto, but they're all good! I'm hooked and visit at least once weekly! Can't beat the $5 special for a 12-inch pizza!

There are a lot of pizza places in this town. All of them make their pizzas about the same. But the Pizza Cart is not like them. At one point they were the only one that was making wood fired pizza. Their pizza (according to a traveling Italian) is the closest thing to authentic Neapolitan pizza. What the menu lacks in size, it makes up for in its taste. Each pizza has a unique and savory taste that has made me come back again and again. Aside from how amazing these pizzas taste, the atmosphere and experience serves the establishment well. Drinks in variety can be purchased from the cooler. There is seating, but it is limited (as most people just carry out). Wait time on each pizza is no more than 15 minutes, but it's popularity can have you waiting much longer. Also keep in mind that weather (mostly wind) will keep them from being open for business. Check their Facebook page for their daily deal and to see when they will be closed. If you're in the mood for pizza, REAL pizza, then this is the place to go!

Enjoy!

  • Dion M.

My favorite pizza place. I love the food here. I always get a half Gyro, half Chicken Bacon Ranch. I could almost eat here every day. I wish there wasn't an up charge to get the half/half pizza though. Otherwise this place is great. The atmosphere is also very nice.

Awesome wood fired pizza. The thin crust has an awesome wood taste. The pizzas are for one hungry person or two nibblers. We also had the desert pizza - awesome !!! I will be returning Nice environment and friendly staff

I love almost everything about this place. Amazing pizza, fresh and delicious salads and super friendly staff. Only thing I would like is if they had a kid's menu, or even just drinks for kids. But overall, this place is awesome! Highly recommended!

  • Kori B.

Great food, great service, great ambiance. The pizzas were delicious: all fresh ingredients. The staff were so good to talk to my kids as they watched their every move from the counter prepping all 5 pizzas. We would definitely go out of our way to come again.

absolutely nothing special. wood fired pizza is great, but if you just put normal Toppings on it, it becomes burnt thin crust.

YUM!!!

  • Pam W.

  • Jason C.

  • Ashley H.

This place is amazing. They make really good pizza. They make some of the most tastiest pizza in cedar. They should open up more locations around town. I recommend this pizza cart if you want to pass by . Or if you are here for the Shakespeare festival. You could bring it back with you to the hotel!!!!!

Nice crust and interesting flavor. Seemed a little light on the sauce and cheese, but Italians will probably say that is the way pizzas are made in Italy. Yeh I'd go back and buy two. One wasn't enough to fill up a hungry man.

This pizza place is wonderful! The atmosphere and friendly service pair well with the delicious pizza! Our family enjoyed a Chicken Ranch Pizza and a Meat lovers pizza.

Enjoy!

My favorite pizza place. I love the food here. I always get a half Gyro, half Chicken Bacon Ranch. I could almost eat here every day. I wish there wasn't an up charge to get the half/half pizza though. Otherwise this place is great. The atmosphere is also very nice.

Awesome wood fired pizza. The thin crust has an awesome wood taste. The pizzas are for one hungry person or two nibblers. We also had the desert pizza - awesome !!! I will be returning Nice environment and friendly staff

Five stars for the combination of excellent pizza, super friendly staff, and a great owner. He even gave me some tips about how to build my own backyard oven.

We would definitely go out of our way to come again.

absolutely nothing special. wood fired pizza is great, but if you just put normal Toppings on it, it becomes burnt thin crust.

YUM!!!

Try the garlic pizza! Husband and I are big fans and go every weekend. The taste is about the same as Centro, but much cheaper and an awesome experience to watch them cook it right in front of you. Definitely stop by!! *note, they are not open all week. Usually just thursday-saturday

This place is amazing. They make really good pizza. They make some of the most tastiest pizza in cedar. They should open up more locations around town. I recommend this pizza cart if you want to pass by . Or if you are here for the Shakespeare festival. You could bring it back with you to the hotel!!!!!
